I bought and read this series as a teen and thoroughly enjoyed all of them. The covers were eye-catching and beautiful as well. Of course since they were published in the late 1960's they are modest and ideal reading for young teens.

I used to love this book and it's certainly unique in its way. A retelling of the Anne Boleyn story (of course), purported to be written by the spirit of Anne's maid via a descendant of hers. Typical for the time it was written, rather innocent in tone. But it does have some errors in it and I may have outgrown it.As for the series, the Six Wives of Henry VIII, published by Beagle and each book by a different author, I have the Katherine of Aragon one and would like to read all of them still.

This book took me a while to plow through. It was interesting but very schoolary. I really enjoy getting an in depth perspectiv on historical figures and this book certainly provided that. Sterling thinks I am a bit obsessed with Henry VIII and may have been one of his wives. If so, I hope I was Katherine of Aragon.
