3 1/2 - 4 HeartsReview written for MM Good Book Reviewsmmgoodbookreviews.wordpress/ Tyler is a private investigator with a successful business, he is in a great relationship with his lover Sean and things are going well for him. When a pushy journalist forces Tyler’s hand to get him to investigate the apparent suicide of a young gay man Tyler is less than pleased, but discovering that the man he helped convict three years before is on the loose terrifies him, especially when all the evidence p [...]

2.5 stars – This started as an interesting mystery about a Tyler, a PI asked to investigate the death of a gay teen and see if it was really a suicide. Meanwhile, a murderer that he helped send to jail has escaped and is stalking Tyler and those closest to him. What worked: It’s nice to read an m/m book which starts with an established relationship, and Tyler’s relationship with Sean is solid and even as obstacles pop up, like Tyler’s ex, their interactions are low drama, and you can tell [...]

3.5 starsMost romance books tell the stories of how two people meet and fall in love and I do like that. But once in a while, I like also to read about an already established couple: I like to be dropped into their life and learn about how they came together but I also like to see how comfortable they already are because they've been together for a while. I never see enough of this kind of stories, so as soon as I saw this book, I knew I had to read it. I'm glad I did, because I liked it. Not ev [...]

This was a very good read. The bad guy? He does some really messed up stuff. The love in the story is strong, the characters all fill a niche. I'm hoping that R.G. Green does another story with these characters because I really liked them.

3.5 StarsThis is my first R.G. Green novel and it won't be my last. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters she created. Despite a lot of head hopping and spending way more time in the psycho guy's head than I expected, the overall effect of this book was compelling. It was on-track for a solid 4-star rating until the 85% mark. The setup for the final showdown with the bad guy was ludicrous. Talk about slow on the uptake! So, minus 1/2-star for that.Bottom line: Looking forward to reading mor [...]

I loved, loved, LOVED! this book. The fact that the two MC's were already together was a big plus for me. Sometimes I just want to read a book where you don't have to deal with all that beginning a relationship stuff. Tyler and Sean are already together, and have a really good relationship. I thought it was very well written, I enjoyed the plot, and felt that the whole story just flowed beautifully. Now if only Mark can have his own story. That would be nice.

Ok, to begin with I got this book mixed up with another one before I even started reading it, but that doesn't mean I was opposed to this book I bought it, so I obviously wanted to read it and at the beginning everything seemed oksssooooooooooo where did things go wrong? To be honest I'm not really sure, it was a slow subtle thing and after finishing the book at nearly midnight last night and feeling somehow cheatedI decided to sleep on it andI did that is until 6:30 a.m not a horrendously ungod [...]

This book combines some of my favorite things: mystery/thriller and established couples who not only love each other but like and respect each other. The sex is hot too!Tyler is a PI and Scott is a roofer. I like that their relationship is equal. They both bring different strengths and weaknesses to the table but neither one feels inferior to the other. It is nice to read books where couples meet and a fall in love. It is also nice and rare to read about established couples who genuinely like ea [...]

I loved the established relationship between the leads here. The emotional intimacy between the couple is exactly what I look for in leads. What prevented this from being a five star for me was the POV shift from the leads to the killer who was stalking them. It felt jarring and frankly, a little creepy when the leads would be intimate right after the killer is masturbating to a murder he committed. I'm not a fan of the villain POV and this book is a perfect reason why.

This was an entertaining read with a nice mix of investigative work and relationship work :) What got on my nerves was the constantly appearing POV of the murderer. Once or twice, ok, but every few pages was way too much for my liking. So, let's hope that won't be the case in the next book!

A little suspense on a Sunday morning makes a fun Sunday. I enjoyed this book. It's short. Fast paced and sexy

    Kelly H. (Maybedog)
She would have needed to sign a contract, otherwise she could twist what he was doing into really bad things. Why should anyone other than his lovers need to know that Ryan is HIV positive? That's his own medical history and no one else needs to know. Do we insist that it's our business to know who has hepatitis, forms of which are deadlier and much easier to contract? And quite the assumption Beckett is making that if he's promiscuous, he's giving it to everyone even if using a condom. There ar [...]

I like this author's writing style, but her characters and situations lack realism for me. This is a crime romance, and she goes for a certain level of suspense and fear. I thought a lot of the decisions were really not very logically sound. That is always something that will annoy me in a book in which the characters are supposed to be intelligent and capable. Also, there was a whole brouhaha about an ex that puzzled me a lot. Everyone has an ex. Why was this even a thing? The author put a lot [...]

4 I definitely liked the characters of Tyler and Sean, how they were established when the book started, how their relationship progressed. Sex scenes were smoldering and tied in well with relationship development and emotion. Did not like the female reporter (I don't think she was meant to be liked, however she seemed quite OTT hateful, and not someone Tyler would even deal with, no matter what she threatened). Some continuity issues as well as "lost leder" type sub-plots had me scratching my he [...]

    want more of them. brilliant.

Частного детектива и его любовника преследует сбежавший из тюрьмы преступник. Немного странный обрыв в расследовании самоубийства юноши, а так неплохо. Очень понравился Шон.

    3.5 stars.
