This was one of those books for me. A story I had to tear myself away from to make food. A book that I woke up in the morning excited to keep reading. One of those awesome books where you are sad that the adventure had come to an end. If you are searching for a story to get lost in, you will love this one! I believe a great book is one in which I re-read. This book is a re-read in the future for me!

So this gets a whooping 4.5 from me, and continuing with this crazy stupid idea of mine trying to assign a song to help you understand the book a little better um my suggestion for this would be "Soon We'll Be Found" by Sia. its a great song one of my personal favorites. also i will also suggest again "Multiply the Heartache" by Cake - seriously this is the second time i've said this song im not trying to push it on people it just works a lot so okay you don't care what i have to say about that [...]

Readability: Very readable and easy to follow.Hook: The chapter definitely left me wanting for more. A lot happened in the short time and I would like to know more.Editing: There are a couple of run-on sentences, fragments and at least one occurrence of wrong word used. Characters: We are introduced to three characters, Shah, the man with the black everything, The Angel that fell from the sky and crushed her car roof just to get her attention, and the main character Taryn Each was described well [...]

This was a really good book. The action and adventure starts from the very beginning and continues pretty much throughout the entire book. This book has action/suspense/a little romance all rolled into one. I only wish we would have gotten to learn more about the Manang’s. I think there is definitely more than meets the eye with them. I hope that there will be a book with more about them in it. The writer is very good at describing how things progress throughout the book…so much so that once [...]

Love this book. I immediately fell in love with every character. It's the type of book that grabs you from the beginning and doesn't let go!

****Spoilage*******2.5 Stars!***From the rash of amazing reviews of this book, I went in assuming reading it would be time and money well spent. It was a point. I'll insert my 'updates' on this book into this review to give you a sense of what I mean.3/09 12%: "Yep. Seems legit."3/11 16%: "Not really liking how we just got thrown into the thick of things with absolutely no set up or background on our MC. I assumed I'd be let in on her secrets in the next coming chapters As long as I ignore the f [...]

“Charmed” has now become one of my favorite books. Lindy Zart has completely blown me away with this story. This book was not what I was expecting at all, it was funny, charming and heartfelt at the same time. The chemistry between the characters and the flow of the story was absolutely amazing. Taryn is adopted, feels lonely, and unlucky. She hates celebrating her birthdays and her 18th birthday is one that will change her life forever. This is the day that Taryn meets Shah and Creed. They [...]

I got this book a couple weeks ago for my Kindle. It took interesting enough, so I put it up towards the top of my "TO READ" list (some books end up on the list for years). Finally, about a week after I got it, I decided to read it. It helped that I was heckled by Tawnya. I read the first paragraph and sighed - convinced I just got myself into some silly teen drama that I'd have to force myself to read. I'll admit, I put off reading the book for a couple days because of it. but then I started it [...]

Loved these characters, Taryn, Luke and Creedyou feel for them through out the story and get emotionally involved in their lives and hope all ends well for each of themI was torn between rooting for Creed and Taryn being together or having Taryn and Luke together. All the characters were well written and the story line very imaginative, the author goes great lengths in her writing getting the reader to feel part of the story. The good vs evil was well written and very creatively doneI won't say [...]

if you want a good read this is the book for you. it has everything from teh charmed ones to angels to guaridans and oh yeah a good love triangle. this book sucked me in from the beginning when creed crashed onto Taryn's car on her 18th birthday. to the evil eyeless shah . Tayrn is thrown into a battle just cause she was born the last charmed one. So if you want a good read with cute chracters check it out you won't be disappointed

When I first started reading this book I felt I was not going to be able to finish it - I am a strong believer in Christ and I know He is the Savior and has paid the highest price to save mankind if they only believe, "But" -as I read and got my mind around it as entertainment I got where I could not "shelf" it. I enjoy the way Lindy writes: it is tho you are there like a unspoken character in her books and "Charmed" is an excellant read. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good book!

Lindy Zart's Charmed is a creative twist on the supernatural. There are hints and influences of some of our favorites but the author definitely owns her own story and draws the reader in. Just when you think you know what's happening, you don't. The author writes in a way that flows for you and you don't even know you're reading- a story is just unfolding. As soon as I was finished, I went on to the next book.

My 12 year old daughter read this book before I did, and she was so not happy with the ending. Guess what? I contacted the author (as others did), and there will be more! I have now read the book and developed connections to these characters. We are both so excited to read more about Creed, Taryn, and Luke! Cannot wait for Charmed Again!

Loved this book! There were a fewammatical errors that bothered me, but nothing big.I really enjoyedading and honestly didn't expect all the happen. ««spoilers»» I did get sad at the end when she followed Creed into the light, I took it as dying at first.

Absolutely loved it hope you come out with a second one for it.

I really enjoyed this story. Taryn is a strong heroine realizing her skills and making new friends. I laughed and cried and I am getting ready to read book two.

Check out more of my reviews on my blog gemmareadstoomuchThis is the first book I’ve read by this author and I’ve got to say that the Blurb intrigued me.Please be warned this review contains spoilers so read at your peril.I enjoy a good PNR but I’ve got to the point where to stand out in a saturated PNR market I need the books to be a little different. This book tried to be different, or at least it tried to put a new supernatural spin on a classic trope. The love triangle. Some love it, so [...]

I enjoyed Charmed from cover to cover. Enjoyed, doesn’t really even encompass the way I felt while reading Charmed. Taryn had me hooked with her story by the end of the first chapter and her dislike of surprises and birthdays. She was instantly relatable and I loved her from the get go (sometimes, it takes me a while to like some female characters)! Then Lindy Zart introduces Creed. This jaw droppingly gorgeous manang sent to protect Taryn and his mix of nonchalant yet protective nature only i [...]

This book was everything a paranormal romance should be. It had a great heroine, two great heroes, and a whole lot of super powers. Taryn was a great heroine. Having been thrust into this world she never knew existed, I felt like she adapted well but still questioned things. She was very realistic in the sense that she acted very much like what any 18 year old who had this bomb dropped on them would. Luke and Creed were both great heroes. Luke was your strong, good guy type and Creed was your su [...]

Im. I don't even know where to start with Charmed. I guess I'll start with saying that I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.Okat said. Here we go.Cover. Part of the reason I jumped at the chance to read this book is the cover. It drew me in. If you're looking for a book that will draw you in, as the cover does, than Charmed is it!Characters. This is the first book in a long time that I have truly been confused by a menage-choice of men. Even after having read it, [...]

There were so many things about this story that I just loved. First, I love the creative names that Lindy came up with for her characters, and how they really seemed to fit so well with their personalities. Taryn had my giggling at her witty retorts to Creed. They had such chemistry. Together they were just the right mix of sarcasm and irony.I really liked the idea of half-angel, half-human beings living on another planet. Lindy did a great job building her worlds and the characters. She did an [...]

Another lovely won from one of Lindy's giveaways.Do you know how exasperated I was with this book? Lindy can write everything and anything. The first time I read this book, I hated Taryn. HATED. As in past tense. I can't put my finger on exactly what it was that irked me about her . . . oh wait. Yes I can.She was hurting my favorite character! You can see where my loyalties lie. Normally I love the protagonist, and with this reread, I (grudgingly) grew to like Taryn. Very grudgingly. Like I was [...]

Have you ever had a book sit at the front of your mind while you put it down and went to do other things? Your mind wondering where the book would go from where you left off, formulating ideas of how it would end. This is one of those books! Lindy Zart does an awesome job at keeping the reader on the edge of their seat wanting more.Taryn has an ordinary life until she turns eighteen. On her eighteenth birthday two men show up and turn her world upside down. One wants to kill her and prolong his [...]
