I'm giving this one four stars, not because all of the plays would deserve a high rating (although some clearly do: I liked, in particular, Naomi Wallace's "In the Heart of America", which balanced nicely the abstract metaphorical level of the play and the concrete plot level coherence of story, although it went a bit too far with the need to spell things out to the audience at times), but because the anthology as an anthology offers a limited but diverse glimpse of 1990s American political play [...]
