This is the first book I read that handled a situation like this one. It was really heartbreaking to read, but also beautiful in how it brought two broken characters together.     I loved this book! I have to admit, the Garrett from the beginning had a long way to go in my eyes, but I believe he did it. I loved both he and Sam, and I adored sweet baby Kai. I’m an OB nurse, so the subject matter in this book hits close to home for me. I thought the subject matter was well written and brutally honest in the best way. Great read!!
