Karen Kelley always had a secret desire to live the life of a Gypsy So she and her husband quit their jobs, sold their house, decluttered their lives and moved into their 5th wheel RV Now they re traveling the United States She works full time on her writing and spends her downtime walking on the beach or hiking in the mountains Her motto has always been Who says you can t have it all.

This is a strange book with strange protagonists. Jessica, the heroine, is never without the word "pure" to her and the hero's stomach is constantly rumbling. It rumbled at least 3 times in three chapters and Jessica is said to be "pure as driven snow" also at least three times. At other times, she is just said to be "pure".I enjoyed Kelley's Close Encounters of the Sexy Kind (2007) but the next book, Cosmic Sex (2008), was already getting repetitive and 'been-there-done-that. I had enough of th [...]

I think this can be a good book. I just wasn't in the mood to finish it. It's very sexy. Two cops fall in love but the sex starts off pretty early and I have no idea how it ends. I looked up the writer and she doesn't really meet the genre for me. Another time I might try to re read it.

~3.5/5After reading Kelley’s alien romance, I wanted to read more, because it was so much fun. For some reason, this was the only one of hers I could find, so I picked it up. I was a little hesitant, but I shouldn’t have been.Once I started, it went by very fast, and was so much fun.Conor was a little frustrating at times, but I liked him, and the chemistry between him and Jessica was very nice. I liked both of them a lot, and their story was a lot of fun. Jessica’s family was a lot of fun [...]

Oh my, the first few chapters had me nearly rolling on the floor! It kind of flattened out after that (well, at least compared to those beginning chapters) but was still funny. This is my first book by this author and I can't wait to read her others. Why not a 5 star for this book? The heroine became just a little annoying at her waffling all over the place about being a cop--other than that, I loved her.

Funny! Very light, humorous reading. There are a couple of places - especially in the beginning - where Conor is a bit too clueless, which makes you wonder what she sees in him. And since it is a light read, the real sex scenes were a tad jarring. But I liked it overall, looking forward to reading more of her.

Jessica's an ex-cop who wants to get away from the cop lifestyle, she's lived her whole life with her family. Her father is the chief and he sets her up on a surveillance op with a new detective after he mistakenly arrests her for solicitation. True to form, they solve the case and fall in love.

I give this 3.5 stars. I read it in 2009, pre days & actually pre Tablet days so I got it from the Library!AnyhowI liked it but it doesn't stand out or anything. It's a sexy, romantic & full of humor.

WOW! That's pretty much all I can say. It was a very, very, very good book, haha. This book was very juicy, I certainly enjoyed it. I love romance books, and this one sure had some romance in it.

3.5 not so bad but a bot boring
