"Angels Unaware" by Rachel J. Good is a book about how angels can come into a person's life without warning. In this case, an angel comes into Mark's life and helps him change a nasty mean neighbor lady into someone he really grows to love. The white gloves on the cover of this book really does play an important part of this story. "Angels Unaware" is a story about the love that God has for his children and a clean love story about Mark and Jasmine."Angels Unaware" even has a little lesson on wha [...]

Angels Unaware was a beautiful story of forgiveness and the purpose of Christ’s death on the cross. I enjoyed learning about the difficult pasts of the main characters Mark and Jasmine. They were both realistic people with believable flaws. However, I had trouble relating with Jasmine. The book is set in Mark’s point-of-view. In doing so, I think we lost a chance to relate to Jasmine. She is not a likable character which in turn made her dramatic transformation unbelievable. I wanted to know [...]

This was such a sweet and touching story! What a wonderful way to show Gods grace and forgiving nature. I was so taken with Jasmines character. At first I really didn't know what to think about her, but as her character revealed more about herself I found that I really enjoyed reading about her. I love it when authors give you little glimpses into the lives of characters and then start peeling the onion away and show you more. I hope there is more to come of these characters. In fact, I think I' [...]

The reader is able to became completely caught up and pulled into the story. Mesmerizing. A decidedly “heart-tugging” and memorable story.Such love, such courage, such faith! Thank you, Rachel J. A touching story of forgiveness, dedication and God's love. This story reminded me that true forgiveness of self and others can be found at any time and through various circumstances. There is always hope. This story is a blessing to read. I received a copy of this book from the author and this is my personal honest opinion.

A touching but very predictable plot. The message of forgiveness and reaching out to others with love is powerfully and well written. The characters are believable and well described. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a fast read with meaningful storyline.

Angels Unaware by Rachel Good is an absolutely delightful contemporary Christian romance that really spoke to my heart.Angels Unaware is delightful on two levels - on the surface it is a wonderful story, underneath it is the heart of God.There are many messages and themes in the novel, but if you hear only one message, may it be - God's will be done. So often we pray and try to impose our wills on God. We need to surrender to Him and pray Your will be done in all situations and at all times.Othe [...]

Angels Aware by Rachel J. Good is a lovely book, which I enjoyed reading. It is the first book I’ve read by Ms. Good. And I can recommend it, though with a few reservations. The pace of this book felt very fast as Mark, the main character, moved from annoyance to friendship to love. The narrative is quite clear that it is taking place over a longer period of time, but for some reason the way it is written makes the timeline feel very short. In my head I knew it wasn’t but I had trouble remem [...]

Rachel Good is quickly earning a place on my list of authors to watch. Having enjoyed the two books in her previous series, "Sisters and Friends", I was sure that I was going to have another pleasant read. This first book, a novella, in her new series, "Hope Chapels" was certainly no disappointment. This story clearly exhibited a Christian theme from its title to its characters. The characters were realistic and well described. I had no problems identifying with Jasmine and her many challenges in [...]

“Angels Unaware” is a easy-to-read book that many should easily be able to read in one sitting. The story features Mark Daniels, a well liked and personable young man who tries to ease his grief and guilt over the deaths of his wife and child by doing kind things for his neighbors. Little does he expect what might result from his actions toward a particularly grouchy neighbor and a down-on-his-luck old man. Could there be angels involved?Although on the surface, “Angels Unaware” seemed l [...]

This was a quick read and flowed really smoothly. I thought it was interesting how we only followed Mark's point of view as normally if there is only one point of view, it is the heroine. I liked the change in Jasmine after she came to know the Lord. Jasmine and Mark both had things that they had to work through and deal with from their pasts and I liked how Rachel Good used the Bible to show how they needed to deal with their issues. There were moments that made me cry in this book and others t [...]

It is so easy to just get through the day that I think we often forget that their are always others who need a kind word, a good meal or for just someone to care. In "Angels Unaware" you will see Mark being the hands and feet of Jesus as he makes a difference to everyone who crosses his path. Especially Jasmine. This story was thought provoking, lessons to learn about being more aware of what is going on around me. A sweet fiction read that is a great read!Blessings,Karen HadleyI received this b [...]
