Madelaine Montague Is a well-known author, some of his books are a fascination for readers like in the Wolfen book, this is one of the most wanted Madelaine Montague author readers around the world.

Danika is sent to a small northwestern town to find out if the reported wolf attacks are cause for concern by Forestry Management or if it is just a random event. Solely focused in her job she has a few hurdles when the town is unwilling to share information and the lone wolf she has found and tagged twice keeps losing it's tag. When a group of bikers arrives and seem to take an interest in her, she is not sure what to do. They look rough and part of a gang but on closer inspection they are quit [...]

1.5/5; 2 stars; CWell, this is supposed to be a paranormal story with shape shifters and a mysterious wolf situation in a remote town. I guess you could say it met that criterion but the actual story was pretty limited. I would probably not have finished this book, giving it 1 star, but in this case, I did finish, so I could discuss it with those doing the buddy read. The most outstanding feature of this book is the main character, Danika, has got to be probably the most annoyingly foolish, stup [...]

Okay. This book? Was good. There was good plot progression, well laid out mythology and it didn't feel as forced as some of the other books by this author. In other words, I liked it. Yes, we're still in the multiple partner genre and there's claiming and marking and hot sex. I'm enjoying this set of books I've been reading. Why mess with a good thing?Danika Whitney has been sent to a small town to study a pack of wolves that have been acting outside the norm. She's noticed some hostility from t [...]

This one didn't work so well for me. I had trouble with all the men being alphas of their own territories but apparently being willing to throw that all over and give it all up to share one woman. I think if it had been one alpha and his betas it would have worked better for me. There was little background on the characters. Okay let's call it like it is, no background. We didn't know who any of these people were or where they were coming from, what motivated them, what had shaped them. The prin [...]

DNF and WTF I can't describe this shit!!!!! Only I can say : "Curiosity killed the cat" is a proverb used to warn of the dangers of unnecessary investigation or experimentation. This is the right words for my situation after reading this!!!!

3 1/2 starsCould not stand Dani she was tstl. Lots of hot sex with different partners.Enjoyed the Wolfen/Were story line.Favorite lines"Her preoccupation with her whining coochie had completely distracted her from everything else" " I want drugs"

Wow! This book was nothing like Hunger of the Wolf. This book has five alpha male shifters being sent to a town to put a stop to the unapproved creation of rouge werewolves. Danika happens to be on a job investigating the recent attacks of wild wolves in town. She meets up with the 5 alphas and instead of one male chasing after Daniki, five alphas find themselves competing for her affections. It was laugh out loud" funny at times because wolves settle disputes by fighting. And it gets very comic [...]

My forays into the world of e-books is always a hit-or-miss, even with authors I'm familiar with (Joey Hill, Lora Leigh, Evangeline Anderson, D J Manly) so when I decide on an author I've never heard of AND the book is a paranormal AND I decide to buy the print format, I guess I deserve it when the heroine ends up having a litter of wolfen in her HEA with the pack of um. wolfen heroes.Believe it or not, I liked this book. Perhaps because I was expecting it to be really bad (I'd forgotten I place [...]

3-1/2 stars. The book started out slow and really didn't pick up until a little over halfway through. For guys that are supposed to be watching out for the heroine, she was walking around those woods a lot by herself. The romance part was okay. I find the romances better with Kaitlyn O'Connor's Cyborg series more believable. (Of course, this is believing a cyborg's love versus a shapeshifter's love which is always measurable.) I've seen from other reviews that the other books in the series are be [...]

stupid here and there, but still good and also I had lol's!

Really great menage erotica book. Not enough shape shifting with the heroin for me, but a really good book.

Kaitlyn O'Connor = Madelaine Montague = Angelique Anjou, etc etc.9/15/2015Can't help it reading it again. Such a funny book!!!!

Fantastic! I liked Xavier the best, he seemed to have a good attitude and more playful than the rest. Well written.

Danika Whitney was sent by Wildlife Management to investigate reports of wolf attacks on livestock and humans in a “little out of the way hick town”. Wolves are not native to the area let alone such a large pack. Despite a g [...]

3.5 Stars!Danika studies large animal behavior and is sent to a small mountain town to research a reported wolf attack on a local resident. She must determine whether this is a random attack or something much more deadly going on in the town. Her work is usually her priority, but things change on this assignment when five very hot, leather-clad motorcycle riders come into town. She's immediately attracted to all of them and finds it interesting that they each seem to be very attracted to her. Wh [...]

Soere were just too many men.Tooo much of the same. And the sex? Very vanilla for supposedly being such a kinky topic (one woman, five men). The sex was also very repetitive. The book was very repetitive. She'd have sex with one of them. They'd all fight. She'd get butt hurt because of something or another and pout. And why did the bad guy want her? That was absolutely never made clear. Hell, you didn't even see the baddie until after the boys had shown up, so there as absolutely nothing to actual [...]

I kinda liked this story, but, it had some problems.FAR TOO MUCH introspective musings by heroine and main characters. I mean, way way way too much. It went on and on and on and on and on I had to skip, it was boring. Also, a real thing about age !! The story went on about it all the time. You'd think the main female character was 50 rather than thirty something. Geez this just makes me wonder how old the author is, when I readShe should probably try to set up an appointment with a doctor, she d [...]

I give this book a solid 4. I actually really enjoyed it. It being my first multi-partner PNR I wasn't really sure what to expect, especially since all the male characters where toted to be Alphas, leaving me to wonder how well that could actually work. I liked that everyone was consistent in their objections and resolutions, the men were indeed pretty Alpha, so they didn't all come together in perfect harmony with rainbows and kittens, the tension remained constant and the result was a compromi [...]

So this book took me 3 ½ months to read. I couldn’t really settle on a rating eather so I marked it 3.The story as a whole was actually really good but there were a few holes that would have made it great if they were filled in. The author needs to take a hard look at it and fix quite a few grammar and punctuation issues. There are quite a few areas where words are in the wrong place or switched around and not in a “translated from another language” way. There were also some quirks about t [...]

I'm not much into multiply partners m/f/m/m/m/m books but these guys where kind of charming and sexy. No touching between the guys. Danika comes into town because her job sent her to investigate some wolf attack problems they had been having around town. Unknown to Danika The Bikers that pass her into town are there for the same reason. " Young drool worthy bikers".All the bikers are the head Alpha's of their own pacts and were sent to find out if rogue were's are turning humans. It could be ver [...]

OK it had potential. Way way way too much of the inner musings. holy cow. I just don't need hundreds of pages of that. there were a few actual scenes and the sex was good not over the top. we spent way too much time in the heroines head. found myself skipping entire sections to get to the next part. I believe I skipped more than I read.

It started nicely but then went downhill pretty fast. I mean, I understand that characters are wavering, unsure and so on. But seriously, do they have to think, rethink and repeat again every single tiny thing for like 20 pages? I really thought I will like that book, but I was bored out of my mind after few of those self-analysys

I liked this book but there was one annoying part- when the heroine kept mentioning how old she was. I don't think it ever said how old she was. Over thirty is not old-Well I guess if you are 21 then yes it is old

One of my favorite books that I have read many times. Most of the books I've read by this author have a similar theme but as it's apparently a theme I like a lot, that's fine with me. I've reread all of her books more than once.

talk about sexWell, kinda. 5 hot Wolfen find their mate, kinda. This damsel in distress just draws them in and next thing you know you have them literally fighting for her. Who really wins remains to be seen. Except for 1 DP scene all the sex was the same. Literally.
